I thought that you would be interested in the latest engineering policies that
have taken root in the U.S. The latest method used to control engineers seems
to be a policy of "terror" initiated by Mr. Irv Rudiwitz, the Engineering V.P.
U.S.A.. Mr. Rudiwitz will have the station mgrs. initiate a "formal hearing"
to scrutinize the actions of any maint. supervisor, for any, or no reason what
so ever. This is meant to keep us "in line". The pressure of these hearings is
very serious, and having a strong effect on the job performence of all the
staff. We have been told that we "do to much work on the aircraft", it is not
in the best financial interest of the department to do so.I can only wonder if
this is company wide policy, or just this lunatic employing these tactics..
